The Crack Team
Happy Crack Warranty
Every poured concrete crack injection repair is backed by our Lifetime-of-the-Structure warranty—fully transferable, at no additional charge.
This page explains what’s covered, what isn’t, and how to keep your warranty in good standing.
What the Happy Crack Warranty Covers
- Leak protection for the injected crack. If The Crack Team injects it, it’s waterproofed for good.
- Poured concrete foundation wall cracks repaired using our crack injection waterproofing process.
- Workmanship + materials specific to the injected crack repair.
- Transferable coverage—if you sell your home, the warranty transfers to the new owner.
What’s Not Covered
- New cracks that form elsewhere (different location from the injected crack).
- Water entry from other sources (window wells, cove joint, floor cracks, sump issues, grading, gutters/downspouts, etc.).
- Structural movement or damage unrelated to the injected crack repair.
- Finished-wall restoration (drywall, paint, flooring) unless explicitly included in your estimate.
How the Transfer Works
- Keep your original paperwork (or request a copy from us).
- If you sell, pass the warranty documents to the buyer.
- The new owner can contact us with the address and repair details if service is ever needed.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Take a photo showing the crack area and any moisture.
- Text the photo to 313-535-7998 or call 313-535-7998.
- Include your name, address, and (if available) the invoice/estimate number.
- We’ll confirm the repair details and schedule service if needed.
Tip: If you’re not sure whether the water is coming from the injected crack or another source, send a wide photo of the full wall from floor to top.
